A virtual map of Madrid containing recordings of unique sounds and images from everyday events throughout the city. Comprising of sounds that have existed since the 1600s, vanishing madrid aims to highlight traditionally urban sounds that may disappear within the next 20 years as technology evolves. Accompanied by recent images taken by Marcos Muñoz Del Cerro, this interactive sound and photo map can be experienced by listeners IRL or virtually.

Field recordings were taken by Clara Brea and Juan Peralta during the III residency for women in electronic music at Matadero Madrid.
